“My screen has gray over the words, and when I move my mouse over it, the gray goes away”
At first, I thought she was seeing things, so I remoted (yes, its an IT verb) to her computer, which allows me to see her screen. Sure enough, on an excel-type spreadsheet, there was a faint gray haze over the cells, and if you moved the mouse over it, the faint gray would disappear.
This however, is on an application we don’t make and are forever apologizing for because its not very well made. I know none of this matters to the end user, More >
Tucker

My fiance and I own a dog named Tucker, who is half beagle, half dachshund, and half toddler. This means that he’s kinda loud, kinda stubborn, and likes to come at you with his paws toward your face and faintly smelling of urine.
He is housebroken, make no mistake about it. He knows that peeing outside is the right way to do things. I’ve been trying to figure out why sometimes he insists on urinating in the house, and I’ve come to the conclusion its out of spite. Tucker is simply upset that he’s a dog and we’re humans. This is how I start every call that I answer. Occasionally I will get an answer that is not the person’s last name. Usually this answer makes your brain processes come to a screeching, halting thud.
Hi. This is my disclaimer.
I work in a call center for tech support. I will not ever mention my company’s name, nor any of our clients names, nor any names of anyone that ever calls in. If you see a name in here, I promise you it is made up.
