musical memoir monday, felmo rises
I’m going to partake in the Memoir Mondays started by Travis, but with a twist. That’s right kiddos, this is an Audio Memoir Monday. Heck, if you’re lucky (or unlucky, depends on if you like it or not) I’m going to replay an audio tune for you folks.
I was the drummer in a band in high school that was, well, decent considering we were all 17. We played a bunch of shows and were moderately popular and won a couple battle of the bands, but our sound wasn’t exactly all the rage to high school audiences who were way into seeing how many distortion pedals they could hook up to one amp. We got booked into quite a few shows that were seven metal bands and us.
This particular show we decided to get all MTV Unplugged and go acoustic. I traded in my kit for a bunch of random crap that I could bang on, and our guitarists went straight acoustic. This little song worked out pretty well at this show, and the bootleg recording by someone in the audience turned out gosh darn good, but the audio isn’t studio quality.
Without further ado, please to enjoy Abuse Me Felmo’s “Tick Tock”, live at Rejo’s.

I'm having trouble with the words to describe that. "Fairy" comes to mind immediately though. Is that an adjective?
