I love my fiance, and I think the secret in life is finding someone that has compatible weirdness. The test of this is when one person says something so absolutely ridiculous that would make a bystander go “What is that person drinking today?”; You, on the other hand, completely get what they mean.
We’re standing in the kitchen making dinner after she had a stressful day, and these words come out of her mouth: “I am so frustrated right now I could beat a horse but that would be mean so I’d just beat a stump.”

’09 just looks weird

I have not abandoned ye, bloggosphere. I have just been busy with other things. No, of course not, there isn’t anyone else! That’s crazy talk, I haven’t been seeing another blog, you’re crazy badlydrawnmonsters.
OK FINE! I admit it, I have a new time drain in my life, and its name is WEDDING.
Our original plan was for summer of next year. Then things fell into place, and we decided to move it up to summer of this year. This really isn’t that big a deal, except now I have an unexpected hobby.

Tucker

My fiance and I own a dog named Tucker, who is half beagle, half dachshund, and half toddler. This means that he’s kinda loud, kinda stubborn, and likes to come at you with his paws toward your face and faintly smelling of urine.
He is housebroken, make no mistake about it. He knows that peeing outside is the right way to do things. I’ve been trying to figure out why sometimes he insists on urinating in the house, and I’ve come to the conclusion its out of spite. Tucker is simply upset that he’s a dog and we’re humans.
