For the past two years around Christmas, I’ve posted about the worst Christmas songs of all time. Â (If you missed those, check here and here.)
But there’s more to Christmas than just crap songs! That’s right, there’s also crap television specials!  Nothing says “Peace on Earth and Goodwill to Men” like claymation, the official sponsor of Christmas Television. In fact, there’s so many that its impossible to watch them all.  There’s only so many hours in the day, and only so many cheesy shows you can watch before you want to gouge your eyes out.
I’ve compiled a list of animated or claymated shows More >

I read this article about Avatar making people depressed, and I can say I’m one of them. Â Not because I won’t ever go to Pandora, but because if they had spent 1/100th of their budget on a script it would have been even better.
Cards on the table, I really liked this movie, and thought it was very good. Â One of the best movies I’ve ever seen? No. Â To me, one of the qualities I like in a good movie is how every day after you’ve seen it, it makes you think about it more, and your appreciation for it grows. Â Avatar More >

This was one of my favorite movies growing up, because bows and arrows are cool. When you’re 10, they’re really really cool. My parents taped the movie off of tv, so it had all the commercials edited out by pressing pause during the recording. I must have watched it until the VHS tape demagnetized.
Back in the day, you might not believe it, but television actually had standards about what was shown. Apparently the tv station More >

After being a fan of TMI Thursday for awhile, I figured it was my turn to bring something to the party. Nobody likes the guy who shows up and eats all the taco dip and doesn’t bring something along (taco dip is awesome, but the person who figured out the taco seasoning and cream cheese combination is freaking insane). So here goes, and hopefully this makes me less of a moocher.
I was the tender age of 16, and at the time I had a couple friends who worked at the local movie theatre. They were able to get us tickets More >
