Since it’s been over a month since I wrote anything at all, this is going to be rusty. Â I’ve never really understood the expression “shake the rust off” because in my experience with crappy cars, if its vibrating so much that rust is falling off the thing, it’s probably about twenty seconds from breaking or exploding. Â Thus my past experiences are making me nervous for what might happen to my brain if I try to hard. Â I’ve already alerted those in close physical proximity to me that if I start shaking too much, they should flee the area.

Like everything in my world for the last couple weeks, this story begins with The Wedding. This is also the longest post I’ve done, which I know is against my style here. But every once in awhile you gotta wear red socks just to see if your style might involve red socks.

Back in the spring of ’01, my college roommate and I decided to do a spring break. This was a fairly last minute decision, which resulted in minimal planning, and thereby leading to the following story.
We packed up his 2-door manual transmission Chevy Cavalier, added a cooler full of beer that filled up the trunk, and four guys with our luggage in the passenger area.
